Basic Rules
No touching other cosplayers, their costumes, or their props without permission (duh!)
No game will have you touching another player character or NPC unless specifically instructed to do so!
Any props you have will be inspected though in general no game will require them, and for some games personal props may be used depending on the specifics of the game.
For games that use foam darts or projectiles such as foam nerf darts, protective eyewear or face wear will be provided if the player does not provide their own.
Players are strongly encouraged to make and provide their own appropriate eye wear (safety glasses/goggles or the like that can withstand a nerf dart) that will fit themselves and their costuming best for them.
Players are not allowed to shoot anywhere except the torso area, arms and legs. The face and head/neck are not to be shot at and will immediately disqualify a player for a purposeful head shot.
Personally provided eye wear will be checked prior to gameplay for safety.

Can I sign a waiver/sign up the day of the event?
Yes! You may become a PC and sign up the day of the event but we strongly suggest pre-signing up for easiness!
Will I be chosen?
Some games have players from our player pool chosen at random and other games will utilize specific players for specific needs, such as cosplay themes or specific characters or awesomeness of cosplay.
My cosplay is huge – immobile
That is OK and with some games they are made for larger cosplays but we do recommend players are able to articulate with their hands.
Some games will use nerf darts so being able to wear eye protection under a mask or costume is important, or having costuming that is durable enough to withstand a nerf dart impact for safety.
My cosplay is fragile!
Because many games are physical in nature we do not recommend participants with fragile cosplays sign up unless they are willing to sign a waiver that explicitly states they are OK with any damage to their cosplay.
For any participant to Cosplay Game Show is not responsible for any damage to your costuming or props.
No game is or will be inherently damaging to your cosplay unless you are specifically asked to do a specific kind of game (such as a messy food challenge) and you agree and sign an additional waiver to do so.
I'm disabled/handicapped
Don't let that discourage you! We have games that are designed for anyone to participate regardless of disability.
Weapons
Nerf Guns
Light Sabers
Many Games will involve the use of Nerf Guns, which will be used in games involving Player on Players, Players vs NPC, and Players vs Objects (like balloons).
Familiarize yourself with the kinds and types of Nerf Guns and how they work, reloading, clearing jams, etc,
IF you can Incorporate Nerf Guns or otherwise fire Nerf Darts with your cosplay, we want you! Yes! Do it!

Props
Buildings
Some buildings may be avoided, demolished or (re)built for the purposes of the game.
Powerups

Patches of Green Grass are safety zones. You must crouch on one knee when you enter and while in this zone. You are immune to attacks in this zone.
Zombies and aliens must turn and walk away while you are in this zone. You may reload while touching grass but you can not fire. You may remain Touching Grass for 10 seconds before you must leave or you lose a life.
Follow The Captain's directions while participating in the show. They will guide or direct you through challenges as needed and where appropriate.
